Especially on Irish tracks since they are generally very low speed. TLD D2/3 all the way! 
You want to move to Canada in the summer. Unless you have a car or access to one you are looking at 6 months without riding. Snowboarding is an alright filler I suppose. Cant wait for summer. I snowboard and i will admit that skiing has every advantage over snowboarding. No blind spot, way faster, more control, you are able to ride way gnarlier stuff on them, you dont get stuck on flat spots, bigger tricks in free skiing. Downhill skiiers have among the biggest balls in the world. I havent seen any snowboarders race down a mountain at 150kph. Calling skiiers "wienies" shows how ignorant you are.
MTB is still my favourite by a long long distance. 
Its an unbelievable bike. Only bike ive ridden that I've like as much or more was a Carbon V10. Rode a glory for a while and it was shit compared to it. Had a Norco team DH for a week too and it just wasnt in the same league at all. Over rough stuff its the best bike ive ridden. A 1.5inch headset for an angleset would be nice though. About Us
